This was really fun to shoot, we were at the sportsman’s lodge and there were a lot of really attractive people wearing very little clothing so it was kinda fun- Lis

Oh it was very fun, I just liked being barefoot and in shorts on CSI- Jorja

I know this is not our normal typical wardrobe- Lis

I love how Finlay is definably the instigator of all things fun- Lis

And all things terrible, I mean trouble walking- Jorja

I like it cause before you guys came I think Sara sidle always was sort of the conflicted overly emotional one who would get into trouble a lot- Jorja

And now I’m the overly emotional one- Lis and she’s (referring to Finn) the one who gets into trouble a lot

Sara’s never seemed so sane- Jorja ‘thank you for that

Yeah well that’s why we came- Lis “for you

Thank god you guys came- Jorja

And here are our adorable boys (in autopsy) – Lis

(When Russell says the girls are probably bored at the conference)

Oh snap, uh not so much- Jorja

We’re having a great time Mr. Ted Danson- Lisa

Yeah that’s right- Lis “we had a blast”

(They are all grossed out by the autopsy scene)

I love when on the show every now and then we actually have a story line that makes our characters who have pretty much seen everything, look disgusted- Lis

These soup scenes are some of my favorite – Jorja

Remember how we felt like we were drunk because we were drinking so much sugar over and over again- Lisa

(Opening credits)

Were all dancing- Jorja “were not allowed to sing evidently so we’re just gonna dance quietly while the credits roll”

(Conference scene)

Most of this technology is real stuff- Jorja

I was really impressed by that- Lis

Big fan, big nerd right here- Lis (when Morgan sees Jane Snyder)

I’m totally just looking at my hair and makeup and going its not so bad, little vanity- Lisa

Jorja you are so funny in this scene- Lis

Dr Jane Snyder what a hack- Jorja

(Finn sees Marc)

What’s going on with Finn here- Jorja

Yes the very cute Michael Landis is coming up, I very much liked him- Lisa

Yeah we all found him nice to look at- Lis

Desperate for some human connection Finlay overacts- Lisa

Lets talk about over acting I had so little to do in this scene I had to carry 5 gift bags so I could accentuate how much of a nerd I was about the convention- Lis

(Autopsy again)

Wow there’s not much left of him, looks like a puzzle- Lisa “isn’t it unbelievable how you get used to looking at stuff like that?”

Yeah that’s why I’m always impressed when I’m disgusted when I come to set- Lis “when I see something that’s over the top”

“It’s the opposite for me I still, just have to keep myself from getting disgusted”- Jorja

“Really still?”- Lisa

(The pool scene Finn is looking for Marc, Morgan reminds her to be careful from last time in GGW)

This is an example of how resilient Finlay is, she bounces back- Lis

(Finn describes her relationship with Marc, what it is and isn’t)

Wanna explain that Lisa, at all, about Finlay?- jorja

Wasn’t it so fun though to do a scene about something other than a crime?- Lisa

Yeah this was really a gift, we really have, we loved the first time we got to do this so much that they gave us another one- Lis

Well I for one kept asking for another one- Jorja

Were thankful to you cause you sort of spearheaded it- Lis

Well I think Lisa spearheaded it too- jorja “and the first time for sure”

I’m always asking for new guys to come that I can make out with- Lisa “even though ive destroyed my character completely, I’ve had a good time

No you’ve made her something that we haven’t gotten to see a lot on the show which is awesome I think- Lis

I think I know this is really crazy but at the end of the day I really do believe that CSI is about love and I could spend 45 minutes pitching that theory but Finns romance and sort of passion for romance really goes with the show very well actually- jorja

 I think so too- Lis

Wally’s the best- Lis “he has one of the hardest jobs on the show with just every week what he has to say I mean we all have those challenges but he’s usually given the most of technicality

He and Robert David hall- Jorja

Yeah those two I have so much respect for cause its not easy to bring human to that- Lis

(The conference scene with Morgan and Sara and Jane Snyder)

“This scene for me was one of the scariest things I’ve shot on CSI because of what you’re about to see- Liz um it felt more real and I think both jorja and I feel like what happens in this scene felt more real than a lot of things we’ve ever done. It really gave me a bit of a panic attack”

“Yeah the scariest scene ive ever shot as an actor”- Jorja

“I felt that when I saw it- Lisa “I was so impressed with how real it felt, how you guys seemed so terrified”

“Of all the strip clubs we’ve done on CSI we’ve never done a thunder from down under- Jorja

“Yeah it was time for the guys”- Lis

“Yeah way over due- Jorja

(The shooter opens fire on the conference room)

“This was literally  the scariest thing- Lis “when we shot the first shot of this we were all sitting in that room the smoke was going the lights were going that guy actually walks in and aims a giant assault riffle at us in our direction obviously they are all blanks but when you’re in a tight space and you know they did such a good job to recreate that, we couldn’t even see the cameras and that’s what made it feel so real, it didn’t feel like there was any filming going on”

Yeah they used long lenses- Jorja

Shot from far away- Lis “and the smoke hid the cameras

I remember I got a lot of help from jorja in this coming up moment- Lis “I was having a hard time figuring out how to play this coming up moment and she was a very nurturing costar, you probably don’t even remember that”

“No it was absolutely heartbreaking devastating to watch you, your character go through this with someone that she knew it was terrible- Jorja

It was more the switch over to I’m fine that was hard for me to do and you helped me get to there- Lis

Yeah that was really well done you guys- Lisa

At least I now know that if someone’s ever shot you’re supposed to put pressure on it right away- Lisa

And its so claustrophobic, you’re completely at the mercy, you cant do anything, everything’s completely out of control- Jorja

If you can’t tell we all really like each other so that’s why these episodes were really fun for us to do- Lis

This was such a different experience for me, the last time I had been at the sportsman’s lodge when I was 11 years old and I won an award for some acting thing that I did and coming back there, now that’s my sense memory is this really traumatic event- Lis

Again so very nice to have family on our show, I think in all the years of the series its like the first time”- Jorja “Marg had her daughter that would come and go but to have sort of rooted in the story to have a family is a really cool thing- Jorja

Yeah I remember when I was first brought in we wanted to try and do a father daughter thing- Lis

I think it’s played beautifully and it raises the stakes and you guys are awesome together- jorja

Ugh so hard that was really good- Lis

I remember this being very difficult having to use all those props and still remember what I had to say and still be emotionally connected was, I got very frustrated at times, and that’s so gross”- Lisa

Very unique use of a tampon- Lis

As hard as it probably was, it really plays well- Lis

Thanks guys that was really challenging I have to say, that was one of the most challenging scenes Ive ever had to do- Lisa ‘because there are so many props and because I wanted to be emotionally connected and I had to remember all those lines and they were very specific lines, that’s really the challenge of CSI I find is to keep moments human when you’re overwhelmed, your brain is overwhelmed with so much very specific lines that you cannot improvise around”

No you really can’t- Lis

I love the way it starts, the pace of it and it just hits the ground running and it doesn’t stop powering through- Lis

I get overwhelmed with information watching the show and our fans are very dedicated they’ve learned the vernacular they’ve learned the language they know how to catch up quickly, this is one of those episodes that anyone could sit down and watch and not get lost cause its very very clear- Lis

I like the way he takes charge- Lisa

I think its nice when all the characters are emotionally invested in what’s going on in the cases- Lisa

Super fun but usually super heavy- Jorja

A connection between all the victims I think, that the shooter wasn’t random- Jorja

Rock and roll montage- Lisa

The subtitle of this episode should be guys gone wilder too because with us all being at the conference the guys are all working together exclusively- Jorja

That’s right- Lis

Do you guys like doing montages?- Jorja

I started doing something that Laurence did, when I would have montages by myself I would pick a song and let it play and I learned that the crew really liked it to it gave them this pace obviously we chose a song that the director felt would fit in with it, makes you feel like you’re in the moment- Lis

Lisa do you like doing them?- Jorja

I do I find them very challenging- Lisa “I get very competitive with all the little details doing DNA making sure you use the right pipette and cut it precisely and putting the liquid in, its just all so precise and it has such a structure to it I feel competitive to get it right”

I feel competitive when I’m doing one next to Eric- Liz cause he’s fun to be competitive with”

Always, Eric’s a little competitive- Jorja

He’ll say things like I got it I beat you”- Lis

We’ll have bets on who can do the scene without having to do any extra takes- Jorja “Ive done maybe 60 scenes with him and he hasn’t made a single mistake and its cause he’s competing not to

Its true, if you make him aware of the competition he usually makes a mistake though- Lisa

After all these years the montages are still some of my favorite scenes to watch and its just beautiful to see the music and effects- Jorja

Did you always have montages? Way back in the day?- Lisa

Yeah from the very beginning- Jorja

Really wow I didn’t know that- Lisa

And the crime scenes I love to watch to but I find them sometimes they can be kinda tedious to shoot but when you see them all cut together there beautiful like operas of a sort”- Jorja

I always liked the crime scenes because you get to slow down- Lisa “and you get to slowly think through what’s going on there’s no pressure to deliver your lines at lightning speed”

(Hodges and Morgan go over security footage)

This was actually really great because sometimes when we do these scenes when we’re looking at the screens we don’t actually have the footage to react to, in this case they had it all there and so we were getting to see all those details and react to them,”- Lis

Yeah it was a great scene- Lisa

I know we’re always back and forth with our connection- Lis “And this is a very tough scene Lis

It was, it was hard- Lis

Cause it all just happened- Jorja and you’re back at work you’ve got your work hat on but you’ve got all this emotion playing underneath

Yeah that was hard for me to figure out how to not over do you know to try and be the CSI but still have it underneath that was hard- Lis

I hate stairwells, bad things always happen in stairwells- Lis

The shooter here is actually the nicest, sweetest guy- jorja

Complete opposite of what he’s playing- Lis

He actually was very authentic and natural- Jorja

How was it to spend a whole episode in a small space like that? Were you happy or was it a nice change kinda? Lis

Yeah I liked it, well its stage 22 so its right near where I live so I’m always very grateful when we do stage 22- Lisa

Stage 22 is the stage closest to our trailers- Jorja

But it wasn’t as claustrophobic as it seems because there was one side that was out the whole time- Lisa

Watching CPR or giving it always freaks me out cause I don’t want to bruise the person- Lis “was that hard for you?’

Yeah you find yourself pushing a lot harder than you should”- Lisa “actually yeah in the last episode of the show Eric was doing it to me and it was hurting so much I was trying to be really tough like no it doesn’t hurt at all”

Yeah the adrenaline scenes the stunt scenes, very hard to completely navigate-Jorja

I think I decided Sara’s a cat cause her life’s been in jeopardy so many times in the history of this show and she actually with this episode reached her ninth life so she’s outta lives, there were two in this one episode- Jorja

This is one of those episodes for Ted and Eric the story is so contingent on the work that there doing yet their in the lab away from where the stakes are high” there’s an episode like that where Eric and I are in the quarantine and you guys are running all around trying to get to the bottom of it and we just get to chill our in quarantine and play chess- Jorja

But you guys sell the whole stakes of the story.

Of yeah possibly losing you guys- Lis

Revenge of the disgruntled CSI- Jorja

Jorja would you say that even though its happened before that there’s a certain discomfort in playing a scene with a gun aimed at you- Lis

I think Sara hate groveling more than anything and as this scene progresses she is reduced to begging for her own life- Jorja “so it was very uncomfortable scene to play and honestly the least scary of the two scenes where Sara is in jeopardy, the mass shooting scene rocked me to the core”

Me too I couldn’t stop talking about it for days afterwards- Lis

Great job on that- Lis

You saved him- Lis

Yeah after this scene it seems like they’re gonna get married for sure and he’s definitely gonna be back for another episode but alas he never came back- Lisa

That’s why we need a season 16- Jorja

That’s right, got some stories to tell- Lis

Interesting that one of the first drafts of this scene had him involved with another woman like where you finally decide to take a risk and at the end of the scene he says I’m with someone and I’m not interested- Jorja

They did make a rewrite- Lisa

So that you guys could potentially have a future- Jorja

Well I just didn’t want there to be one man out there who didn’t want me- Lisa “that said no to me”

I love it- Lis “Lisa you are my hero”

I am a little jealous of both you guys and all the characters you get to kiss on the show- Jorja

You just have to ask for it over and over and over- Lisa and finally they give you one or two

I had this incredible marriage - Jorja

You got a pretty few good kisses in there with that one- Lis

One kiss in 15 years- Jorja
